Parkinson's Boxing Helps Knock Out Parkinson's at Recent Michael J. Fox & Jack Quinn Event

On October 20th, Parkinson's Boxing was pleased to be a sponsor of "A Buffalo Knockout of Parkinson's" event. Brought together by Jack Quinn, who is a board member of the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, the $100-per-head event featured a panel discussion including Quinn; Parkinson’s Boxing founder Dean Eoannou; Mark Frasier, who is co-chief science officer at the Michael J. Fox Foundation; and Dr. Allison Brashear, an expert in movement disorders who is dean of the University at Buffalo’s Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. The moderator was “60 Minutes” correspondent Lesley Stahl, whose late husband Aaron Latham had Parkinson’s.

The event was able to raise more than $250,000 to donate towards researching Parkinson's Disease.
